# How to add your SocialVerse to a WordPress website


# Install Your Website Plugin (SocialVerse) on WordPress

**Follow these simple steps to embed a SocialVerse on your WordPress site.**

##### 1. Copy the SocialVerse Website Plugin Code

* Open your SocialV Dashboard.
* Select the SocialVerse you want displayed on your website.
* Click **Get Code **and copy the widget code (header code and body code)

##### 2. Open WordPress to add header code

To add custom code to your WordPress head tag, you can use the **Insert Headers and Footers** plugin or edit your child theme's functions.php file.

Using the Insert Headers and Footers plugin:

1. Install and activate the plugin
2. Go to Code Snippets then Header & Footer
3. Paste your code into the Header box
4. Click Save Changes

##### 3. Go to your Page and Add a new Block

* In your WordPress admin panel, open the page, post, or plugin where you want to add the widget.
* Use the content editor to insert a new block.

##### 4. Change the Block type

* Click **Browse All** to view available block types.

##### 5. Select Custom HTML

* Choose the **Custom HTML** block.

##### 6. Paste the Embed Code

* In the Custom HTML block, paste the copied SocialVerse widget code.

##### 7. Preview the SocialVerse

* Click **Preview** to see how it looks.
* That's it!  Your SocialVerse is now embedded on your page.
