• You will need to have created a SocialVerse for your account
• You'll want some videos submitted to your account by your customers
Log into the SocialV Dashboard
Click on the SocialVerse from your Nav column
Select an existing SocialVerse by clicking Manage or Add Clips
This section enables you to see all non-moderated videos in your library that have been submitted by your customers.
Video Carousel
The carousel is where added videos are displayed and where you can manually change the order of the videos by clicking+dragging the video thumbnails. You can also preview the video or update the thumbnail image.
If you don't want a video to display in your SocialVerse you can remove a video from the carousel by clicking the 'X' button on the top right corner of the thumbnail.
Video Library
The video library is a table containing all the videos uploaded to your SocialV account by your customers. You can add videos individually by click the (+) plus icon at the right side of each row. You can add multiple by checking the box at the front of each row and clicking the Add Selected button.
Click on the Edit Appearance button to customize the appearance of your SocialVerse as it will appear in the webpage it is embedded on. Here are the elements you can customize:
SocialVerse Title
Clip Counter
Creator Info
Closed Captioning
Accent Color
Format
Title
The title appears centered above the SocialVerse and can provide context to what the website visitor is seeing. You can enable or disable the Title display.
Clip Counter
The clip counter appears below the Title text and displays the video counter so the website visitor has an idea of how many videos there are.
Closed Captioning
If you'd like the videos in the SocialVerse to offer closed captioning, enable this option.
Accent Color
The accent color is used on the navigation buttons on the SocialVerse and the video thumbnail border when hovered by the mouse. We recommend using your business' brand color as long as the contrast is high on the background color of the website page the SocialVerse is embedded on.
Format
If you prefer to change the view type of your SocialVerse you can scroll down to the bottom of the right panel and select Change.
Select from the available SocialVerse view type and click Save
You can preview your SocialVerse by clicking the eye icon at the top right of the screen. You can choose desktop or mobile view to see what it'll look like.
To have videos automatically added to your Google Business Profile you'll need your SocialV account synced with your Google Business Profile (GBP). If you haven't done that yet, this article provides instructions on how to do so.
To sync the SocialVerse and have all existing videos and future videos automatically uploaded to your GBP for review, click on the Google button at the top right and left of the preview (eye) icon.
Google Sync Button - Red dot
If you see the Google sync button with a red dot it means that your SocialV account is synced with a GBP but the SocialVerse isn't synced. Videos will not be added to your GBP.
Clicking on this button while in this state will prompt you if you want to Sync the SocialVerse with your GBP. Follow the prompts and the Google Sync button should change to a green dot and all existing videos that haven't already been uploaded to your GBP and all future videos will automatically be uploaded for review by Google. Reviewed video will then appear in your profile once approved by Google.
Google Sync Button - Green Dot
If you see the Google sync button with a green dot it means that your SocialV account and the SocialVerse are synced to your GBP. As new videos are added to this SocialVerse they will automatically be submitted to your GBP and reviewed by Google before appearing on your profile.
