Setup your account members

Account Members


Add members to help you manage your SocialV account.

Dashboard Members Section


To access your account's member section:


  1. Click on the Account Details button
  2. Click the tab for Members


Under the Member Management section you will see your list of existing member. The member list details consist of:

Name

Cell Phone

Individual Roles

User Alerts

Action

Alphanumeric

Numeric

Owner/Member

Video Creation Alerts Toggle

Edit

Name
This displays the name of the member


Cell Phone
This is the cell phone provided by the member


Individual Roles

  • Owner: Can invite/remove members, edit existing members and roles, and access the account billing section.
  • Member: Can invite members.


User Alerts
Enable your member to receive an SMS message when a video is created by one of your customers.


At this time, only one member can receive an SMS message when a video is created


Action
Click on the edit button (pencil) to edit a members role or remove a member from the account.


Invite a new member


To invite a new member, click the + Invite team member button to start.


  1. Enter a first and last name
  2. Enter a valid email
  3. Enter a cell phone number


hen all required fields are entered properly the Invite Member button will become active in the top right of the screen.


If you wish to exit at any time, click the Back button. Confirm you wish to leave the unsaved changes and you'll return to the Members section


The new member is pending until they accept the invite and successfully onboard.


Removing an invited member


You may revoke an invite of a member that hasn't onboarded by:


  1. Click on edit button (pencil) under the actions column
  2. Click the Remove button
  3. Confirm your want to Delete This User



Receiving a member invite


When a new member is invited, they are sent an email invitation with a call to action button.



To complete the invite:


  1. Within the email invitation, click on the Join Now button


You will be directed to the SocialV dashboard Finish Account Setup screen with a few details pre-populated


  1. With the name and email fields pre-populated with your information, enter a 6+ digit password
  2. Confirm the password
  3. Click on the Create member account to be logged into your account


Managing a member account


If you wish to remove a member or change the members role, click on the edit button (pencil) under the action column for the user you wish to manage.


Only an account owner can edit a member


Change member role


After clicking on the edit icon, choose either Account Owner or Account Member as that members role.


Delete a member


After clicking on the edit icon, click on the Remove Member. Confirm that you wish to remove the member and that member will be removed from your account. Any attempts to log in by that member will not be successful.


To add that member back, you'll need to go through the Invite a member flow.
